The good news is, aftermarket parts are plentiful for you to upgrade your 350z suspension. Thanks to this weight, your car’s suspension needs to work hard to feel lively compared to something like a Mazda Miata. Some owners feel the 350z was built to be a “cruiser”, despite it’s racing roots. We can absolutely work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want at a budget that is right for you. Does a system in a 350z have to cost this much or go this far? No, not necessarily, but this is what this particular customer wanted. All the little accents of suede throughout the car definitely add a nice touch, but certainly take time to do. But because the Z is such a small car, we didn’t want to take up all the usable space…or at least have it appear that way. For instance, the enclosure is not only under the strut bar, but also fills most of the spare tire well to get enough air space. It was done that way on purpose to make everything seem simpler and clean. This car had some fairly premium gear and the work done to it is probably more than most people would notice. To keep up with the bass the W7 woofers would be capable of producing, we installed two sets of JL Audio XR Series components in the car. Front and Rear Speaker Upgrades The doors got a much needed speaker upgrade. To reinforce the lighting effects in the system, a pair of back-lit “Z” logos adorns the outer edges of the subwoofer enclosure. With 750 watts available for each sub, we had no concerns about how loud the system would be able to play. We built an enclosure that fits into the space under the rear hatch arch and pointed the subs forward. To meet the client’s request for lots of output, we used a pair of JL Audio 10W7 subwoofers. Lighting used to highlight the Z logo and the JL Audio subwoofers.
